• What areas do you cover?

  We are based in Cheshire and cover the whole county, as well as parts of North Wales and Merseyside. If you're unsure if we cover your location, please give us a call or send us a message. We often travel further for larger jobs such as commercial sites, so feel free to get in touch.

• Are you fully insured?

  Yes. Daley Brothers Ltd is fully insured for all services we provide. We carry comprehensive public liability insurance.

• How do you clean driveways and patios?

  We use professional-grade pressure washing (or jet washing) equipment to safely and effectively remove dirt, grime, moss, algae, and stains. We can also offer re-sanding and sealing services to protect your driveway or patio for years to come. For more sensitive materials we have specialised equipment that enables us to clean without the risk of damaging the material (soft washing).

• Why is it important to get my roof cleaned?

  Moss, algae, and lichen on your roof don't just look bad—they can cause real damage. They retain moisture, which can lead to tile degradation, cracks, and leaks over time. Our roof cleaning and moss removal service not only improves your home's curb appeal but also extends the life of your roof.

• How often should I have my gutters cleaned?

  We generally recommend having your gutters cleared at least once a year, typically in the autumn after most leaves have fallen. However, if your property is surrounded by tall trees, you may benefit from a six-monthly clean (spring and autumn) to prevent blockages and water overflow, which can cause water ingress and damp issues.

• Do you use harsh chemicals?

  We prioritize using the most effective and environmentally-conscious methods. For many surfaces like driveways, high-pressure water is all that's needed. For more delicate surfaces (like roof tiles or render) or to treat organic growth, we may use a professional-grade, HSE-approved biocide or soft washing solution, which is applied according to strict safety and environmental guidelines.

Booking & Process

• Do I need to be at home during the service?

  Not necessarily. As long as we have clear access to the areas that need cleaning (and access to an outside water tap, if required), you do not need to be home. We can discuss all the details when you book.

• How long will the cleaning job take?

  This depends entirely on the size of the property and the service(s) required. A simple gutter clear on a semi-detached house might take as little as an hour, while a full roof clean and driveway restoration could take a full day or more. We will always provide you with an estimated timeframe along with your quote.

• What payment methods do you accept?

  We accept Bank Transfer, Cash or Paypal. We will provide an invoice with all the details upon completion of the job.
